Italy Travel Photos – Venice After Dark

Venice is a beautiful city, one of my favorites, and it looks different at night. I shot these scenes while riding on a vaporetto down the Grand Canal.

This last photo is in St Mark’s Square where I ate gelato while listening to  live music.

First-time visitor via Composer Lynn. Love Venice at night … heck gotta love Venice. Our last trip there was by cruise ship. Interestingly, because the docks were full, we docked sidewalk side 5 minutes from St. Mark’s. After dinner on the ship, it was back to the night-time square for some music.

  2. I was in Venice years ago, Margie, but never saw it at night. Sounds like something to return for!
