I have been to Rome five times and still have not seen all of it.

Pantheon
The first time was for six days and it was exhausting since we were on the go continually. There is just so much to see in this great city in Italy.

Santa Maria Maggiore Church in Rome
Needless to say it would take a month of blogging to post enough photos to really show Rome, but here is a sampling of some of the well-known (and some not so well-known) places in the Eternal City.

The Temple of Hercules Victor in Rome
This ancient monument, the Temple of Hercules Victor, dates back to the second century B.C.

I agree with you. Rome is a fascinating city with so much to see. One could spend a year there, and not see everything. 🙂

Oh Margie, I love Rome. My husband and I spent a week there a few years ago for an anniversary celebration. We stayed in a little charming hotel in Trastevere, best decision ever! Rome is a wonderful walking city and the the transportation is easy to use too. I like staying in one place for a week and exploring everything by foot; can’t wait to go back and see more! Thanks for sharing these great photos!
