My Solo Travel Adventure in Italy Has Been Featured in La Gazzetta Italiana

As you may or may not know I am a contributing writer for the  Italian-American newspaper, La Gazzetta Italiana, which is based out of Cleveland, my home town. My editor, Gabriella Mileti recently gave me the opportunity to write an article for the October issue about my three month solo travel adventure in Italy and the resulting publication of my first book, “Memoirs of a Solo Traveler – My Love Affair with Italy.” You can check out my article here. The print version of the newspaper has been published but the online version is not live yet. Not all the articles are featured on the online version, only four or five usually. If you would like to see the complete PDF version of the October issue of La Gazzetta Italiana, you can check it out here. La Gazzetta Italiana October 2012.

  2. Wonderful article, Margie. I didn’t know you were from Cleveland. We are about half an hour south of the Akron-Canton area. You were so brave to go back to Italy by yourself. I admire how you immersed yourself in the language, and I can’t imagine how emotional it must have been to visit the city where your grandparents were born.
