Andiamo a Sicilia! #2SicilianGals begin our European road trip in Sicily.
After arriving in Palermo and retrieving our rental car at Palermo Airport, formerly known as formerly Punta Raisi Airport, Victoria and I are hitting the road.
First stop some espresso and a pastry!
We’d soon be on our way in our Toyota Camry Hybrid, thanks to AutoEurope.
Beautiful countryside awaited us as we drove from the outskirts of Palermo on the autostrada to Trapani, about an hour away. The day was warm and sunny, a beautiful day for a drive in Sicily’s countryside, and a nice change from public transportation.
Trapani is on the Mediterranean Sea and the color of the water was a gorgeous blue.
You’ll be hearing more as we share along the way, so stay tuned.
